crashed machines, checks for missing frames and frames sizes differences.

install the render client service on Linux, Irix 6.5 and Mac OS X and

Muster 4.3 can interface with the best 3D and 2D packes available on the
market (depending on the availability of such engine on the render client
OS): Alias|Wavefront Maya 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and 6.0, Softimage|3D,
Softimage|XSI, Newtek Lightwave, 3D Studio Max 6.0, Apple Shake, Adobe
After Effects 6.0, Mental Ray for Maya or Standalone. If your render
engine is not included in the list, you can customize Muster to interface
with unsupported engines using the User Jobs feature.


Single image slicing
Muster 4.3 can use the region rendering function of some engines to split
a single frame image across several machines. This gives users a wonderful
tool to generate test renderings or big printing images in a bunch of
seconds. On maya jobs, the single frame assembles images in native iff
format preserving alpha and depth channels.
